Asami, born in Kyoto, Japan, embarked on her artistic journey as a nail artist in her teens, using this medium to express her creativity. She relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2010, and later to New York City to pursue her career. In Nolita, she established BISOU, a nail atelier that transcended traditional salons by specializing in intricate nail art.

After over a decade in nail artistry, Asami felt compelled to move beyond its impermanence. She sought to transition from temporary expressions to permanent artworks, seeing the opportunity to empower clients with tattoos that endure and enrich their lives.

Her meticulous attention to detail, influenced by Japanese calligraphy, defines her delicate, fine line design style. Asami is dedicated to creating a complete and meaningful experience for her clients throughout the tattooing process.
